Both the Oculus Rift and its Touch controllers just saw a huge price drop

It’s now $499 for the Rift headset and $99 for the Touch controllers; that’s an overall and massive price reduction of $200. You can find out more about the deal here on the official site.

And you even get the-apparently-very-good Robo Recall for free with the Touch controllers too. Check out the bombastic trailer for the title below:

Yeah, it’s still not cheap, especially when you factor in getting a PC that’s capable of supporting the hardware (although that barrier to entry has been reduced quite significantly since launch nearly a year ago too), but it’s a huge step in the right direction.
